Book Description from Amazon
As Elle tries to pursue love and life to its fullest one person from her past threatens to steal everything she’s worked for. Forever.
In the stunning conclusion to ’30 Days’ Elle and Colin find themselves ripped apart without warning. As Colin desperately tries to find Elle she’s desperately trying not to lose her mind.
Joe, Colin, Jenna and Ben work hard to find and rescue Elle but even if they get her to safety will she ever really be safe? Will her life ever really be her own or will she and Colin always be looking over their shoulders wondering…waiting.
Committed is the conclusion to the two book series, 30 Days. Elle is back where she started, and trying to get her life back. Colin and their friends are trying to help, and Ryan is an even bigger douche than in the first book.
What I liked about the book
I liked that Elle put her life back together to such an extent that Ryan’s antics, horrible as they are, has not stolen her sanity this time. She’s put together what he’s up to, and she’s keeping her wits about her. The plans she made before her kidnapping has been put in place, and it’s only a matter of time before things get sorted.
Colin remains sweet and supportive (too sweet??) and seems unable to put a foot wrong. I liked it and I didn’t like it.
The story had a good and realistic conclusion but one I did not anticipate. I thought there would be a legal resolution and that would be it. No such luck people!
What I didn’t enjoy that much
This book contained even more First Person POV’s from a variety of characters, and as with the first book it niggled me.
I really didn’t like that there was so much ‘fluff’ in this book. Half of it could’ve been cut away and combined with the first one to make one complete novel.
I didn’t enjoy this book as much as the first one. Having said that, it was a satisfying conclusion to the double volume. The loose ends were tied up, and I was left feeling both sorry and happy for Elle.
