Another page in one of my art journals.
I so enjoyed doing this project. The Molding Paste took forever to dry but I stayed patient! I still have a way to go with hand lettering but I am getting better with each new attempt. This was my first paper flower attempt and I actually really liked making them. I’d do a few things differently next time, but it wasn’t bad for a first try.
I have a number of Art Journals, mostly because I’m terribly impatient and rotate through them while waiting for paint projects to dry. This one, which I recycled from an old story book, is a newer one in my collection and is still quite empty, with pages just waiting to be filled! I decided on a heart for the cover and kept it nice and simple while still incorporating lots of colour.

Got these brand spanking new Faber Castell Brush Pens and just love them! Blends beautifully with a bit of water – almost like water colour pencils. Can’t wait to try them with a Mixed Media project on my next Art Journal page. Black outline was done with a fine tip Steadler pen.
